Lancaster, Ohio, November 25, 2020 – Jay Mattlin with Keller Williams Greater Columbus Realty, has been awarded the Certified Real Estate Team Specialist (C-RETS) certification, the premier team credential in the country. The C-RETS is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) and is an official certification of the National Association of REALTORS®. Jay joins an elite group of real estate professionals from around the world who have earned the C-RETS certification. All were required to successfully complete comprehensive coursework in team development and management, as well as subscribe to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
Jay has held a real estate salesperson license in the State of Ohio since June of 2016. While this certification is geared more toward real estate teams and being an effective team leader, it also teaches agents how to work better with their clients and other agents. Jay said it was an important certification to obtain for not just his clients and colleagues but for his business as whole. The class covered not just team leading but also leadership methods, human resources teachings, and working with a diverse group of people. An important pillar in Jay's business is to be as educated and informed as he can be for his clients and to further grow the REALTOR® brand of professionalism.
C-RETS is wholly owned by REBI and focuses specifically on building, leading, and managing high performance teams.
