Every September, golf lovers and families alike celebrate World Mini Golf Day—a perfect excuse to grab a putter, enjoy some friendly competition, and explore a new course. This year, Dustin and I headed to Hocking Hills Mini Golf at Oasis Coffee Shop in Rockbridge, Ohio, and it turned out to be the ideal spot for a fun day out.
What makes this course stand out is its thoughtful design. The sandstone blocks incorporated throughout the course are a great nod to the natural beauty of the Hocking Hills region, giving it a sense of place you won't find at your average mini golf stop. And if you love a challenge, you'll appreciate the real water obstacle—it kept us both on our toes (and admittedly laughing a lot).
One of the best perks? You pay one fee to play all day. That means if you're not satisfied with your first round—or if, like Dustin, you're on a roll with multiple holes-in-one—you can head back out and try again without worrying about extra cost. The course was very clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even better.
Because the mini golf course is attached to Oasis Coffee Shop, we were able to grab a fancy coffee before teeing off. The site also offers shopping and food options, making it a fun little stop for couples, families, or groups looking for a mix of activities.
The only drawback? It's located right off Route 33, so you will hear some highway traffic while you play. But the course itself is enjoyable enough that the background noise fades after a few holes.
For a clean, challenging, and uniquely local mini golf experience, Hocking Hills Mini Golf at Oasis Coffee Shop is a great choice. Whether you're celebrating World Mini Golf Day like we were, or just looking for a fun stop while exploring the Hocking Hills region, this spot has something for everyone.
And if you're lucky, maybe you'll pull a Dustin and rack up four holes-in-one!
